Born in 2017, Maxen is a Montreal software startup that seeks to redefine the standards of energy efficiency in buildings. Our mission is to create world-class technologies that enable building managers to connect and optimize their assets, while having a positive impact on the climate crisis.

We are looking for our future Front-End Developer to join the team.

 

In close collaboration with the CEO and the rest of the team, take a look at your daily future:

 

 

YOUR MISSIONS

 

- Work as a team to design new features on the new version of our Maxen web-app,

- Research and resolve issues related to new product development,

- Automate testing and verify software quality in a pre-production environment,

- Work in an Agile environment.

THE MUST-HAVES

 

- 5 years experience in Front-End development,
- 3 years of experience with REACT and use of the Material UI component library,
- Comfortable with version control on Git / GitHub,
- Experience with Typescript.

YOUR SKILLS

 

- Good UX sensibility oriented web-application,

- Experience with Redux or any other state management library,

- Experience with unit testing and integration testing with Jest and React-Testing Library,

- Experience with software design patterns and application architecture.

 

 

- Languages:

• French, spoken and written

• English, spoken and written at a functional level and above.

 

 

THE CHERRY ON TOP

​

- React Query,

- Experience in scaling applications based on a micro-frontend architecture (an asset),

- Docker and Github Actions,

- GraphQL.
